| Hope you enjoy some of our Easter fun in 2009. One of the best/funniest things that Abby said this year, was to her Aunt Kami. She had got to spend the day with her cousins, Aunt Kami, and Grandma Gail. They made cupcakes and other various crafts. At the end of the day, as they were leaving, Abby turned to Aunt Kami and said, "Thanks for letting me come play! And thanks for EGGING me!" We had Easter dinner at our house this year with about 20 guests (including our own family). We had fried turkey, ham, scalloped potatoes, etc. It was a lot of fun and yummy food. Oddly, I didn't take one single picture of the actual Easter Day activities! I will have to recreate the day, just so I can get a picture of Abby in her cute Easter dress!! At any rate, we had lots of fun and still managed to remember the real reason we celebrate. We are so thankful for the Savior and His sacrifice and resurrection. We hope to keep Him in remembrance all year long, but are glad to have this special day to celebrate His life!  |
